LFF X LA REDOUTE

The La Redoute brand is a bit of an institution in my household; Mama Green introduced me to the catalogue as a little girl and I believe that's where my love affair with French style began. It's that effortless sexy-cool, rock and roll, dishevelled-yet-put-together look the Vogue FR editors channel that the fashion world wants a little piece of. To celebrate French style and the statement items that every woman should own, La Redoute surveyed 300 french women to find out the five essential investment pieces that make up their capsule wardrobe. FYODOR GOLAN LOVES MY LITTLE PONY SELFRIDGES POP-UP

With fashion collaborations now as commonplace as paparazzi pictures of Louis Tomlinson falling out of a club, hot-babe-in-tow, it takes a special meeting of creative minds to capture the sartorial world's attention. But here's a collaboration I am currently digging: London Fashion Week designers Fyodor Golan have taken their playful aesthetic and joined forces with every little girl's favourite toy - My Little Pony - for the Fyodor Golan loves My Little Pony fashion collection. To celebrate the collaboration, Selfridges has set up a pop-up shop, on the contemporary floor, which houses an exclusive and giant My Little Pony designed by Fyodor and Golan (which appears to be regurgitating a giant rainbow which is quite simply, fantastic) and a giant rainbow. With several of the pieces from Fyodor's Golan's SS15 catwalk show on display, prices start from £100 for limited edition motif sweater. The pop-up is only running until 1st August, so there's just one week left to discover and shop this bonkers and brilliant partnership.

SHOPPING FOR: PALM PRINTS

A perennial summer favourite, palm prints are maturing into the trend of spring/summer 15 (expect horticural pun overkill in this post - sorry!). The cooler alternative to chintzy country garden florals, the high street is overgrown with evergreen ferns and tropical palm motifs this season. To do this look on a budget, head to H&M - I picked up a printed shirt and culottes from the latest H&M conscious collection for just over £30 for the set. At the top end of the high street, East London print purveyor House of Hackney is your go to - the 'palmeral' print is signature to the brand and a design classic.
