Suspense over: the top is my latest find from Next and it's a purse-friendly £45 (shop here). It comes in navy and ecru - I love mine so much I am tempted to get the former, too.
So why do I love it so much? Well if there was even a top made for swishing in; this is it. The tassel trim has lots of movement which makes it so much fun to wear! It's light and easy for warmer days, without revealing too much flesh. It's also ageless and flattering; peasant-y smock tops look lovely on women of all ages and body shapes.
To draw attention to a few of my accessories - I love a friendship bracelet, and I'm wearing a lovely Links of London Black Skinny Friendship Bracelet from Joshua James. A little slimmer than the classic Links of London styles, it's very easy to wear and looks smart next to a watch.
My fabulous delicate little star earrings are Isabel Marant and were a birthday present from my lovely chap. They were from The Outnet and are sadly now sold now out - the good news is - there's a whole edit of amazing Isabel Marant pieces on the site right now (shop here) including lots of delicate earrings around the £30 price point.
My truly amazing lace up pumps are also Next - they are so on point at the moment! They're made from soft suede and are just so comfortable - ideal for days when I have back to back meetings around town.
Folk tunic - Next. Leather-look leggings - ASOS. Earrings - Isabel Marant at The Outnet. Links of London skinny friendship bracelet - c/o Joshua James. Leather cross body bag - Marc by Marc Jacobs [similar] Lace up flats - Next.
