LFF X UGG AUSTRALIA

UGG 7

One of the best things about living in London is the germinating multitude of green spaces. The city's parks play a big part in my life - I run round Clapham Common, picnic in Battersea Park and play tourist in Hyde Park. When UGG Australia invited me to road-test a pair of their classic UGG boots in the park, I happily obliged. Which is how I found myself in Hyde Park last Saturday enjoying the last few rays of autumn sunshine.

Although UGG boots come in a kaleidescopic colour palette these days; I stayed true to my classic aesthetic and chose the UGG classic mini boots in a neutral mushroom hue to wear for this shoot. I have to admit, I was not sold on UGG boots before I was so kindly sent this pair. I own a couple of pair beautiful sheepskin-lined loafers from the brand, but having size 9 feet I expected my feet would feel disproportionately huge in UGG boots. I'm super happy to report I have been pleasantly surprised -  the fit is perfect and most importantly the comfort is second to none - the closest you'll come to walking on a pillowy soft cloud.

Sartorially, this is quite a brave look for me, not least because I am accident prone and the white ensemble was just a coffee spill away from a faux-pas. The jeans are a very recent purchase from the sale rail in TK Maxx - they are Seven for All Mankind for Joseph and at £29.99 an amazing bargain! Already in the wash after one wear though… The rest of my outfit is made up of previous season wardrobe staples you've most likely clocked on here before, I've also hunted out some similar styles below.
