LFF ATTENDS: EDELINE LEE AW13 PRESENTATION

I have a London Fashion Week day 3 diary to come, but before I write that I am bursting to share my pictures from the Edeline Lee AW13 presentation on LFF. I had to return to work on the Tuesday of London Fashion Week, but with tickets for 4 on-schedule shows I was determined to fit in one last event. So during my lunchbreak I headed to the Elizabethan Middle Temple Hall for the Edeline Lee AW13 presentation. See the full report and pictures after the jump

JOIN LFF AT LONDON FASHION WEEK AW13

London Fashion Week kicks off today and I'm very excited to be taking LFF to the AW13 shows again.

If you would like a behind the scenes peak of what it's like to be an independent blogger at London Fashion Week (I'll show you both the glamorous and unglamorous truth), be sure to follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for all the of-the-moment updates. I will also be sharing my daily photo blogs on here like last season, but as there isn't always time to post on the day, head to my social media accounts for the hour-by-hour updates.

To give you a taster of what you can expect, here's a montage of my favourite Instagram pictures from September's fashion week.. and if you are attending the shows come up and say hi! It's always great to catch up with blogger friends at the shows, old and new.

LFF ATTENDS: THE LAUNCH OF ANTONI & ALISON'S YE OLDE WORLDE SUPER MODERN TEAROOM

A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to attend the launch of Antoni & Alison's new tearoom, located in Clerkenwell above their shop. The 'Ye Olde Worlde Super Modern Tearoom', (try saying that after a glass of champagne) is the fashion design duo's latest venture,  and I am happy to report, is every bit as wonderful as Antoni & Alison themselves.

I met up with my fashion blogger/ journo buddy Natalie for the event, where we headed upstairs to the tearoom space to sip tea and nibble Victoria sponge (served by Alison herself, no less).

The concept behind the tearoom is to create a space where visitors can think and be creative; there’s no wifi or fancy coffee machines to be found, instead guests are handed an Antoni & Alison pencil and pad upon entry to accompany their breakfast tea and Victoria sponge. Add some very chic Antoni & Alison illustrated china into the mix and you have an endearing little haven.

I was also really chuffed to have a chat with Antoni at the tearoom launch, and he was every bit as charming as I had hoped (possibly have a little crush). Here’s my snaps from the launch:

Antoni & Alison cups & saucers (felt tip pen designs)
The Antoni & Alison victoria sponge that I am happy to report was extremely moist!
Natalie doing a little tea-drinking/ posing
Some more obligatory posed tea-drinking. My Christmas bow ring is by Whistles and the nail polish is Barry M.

The witty menu- photo courtesy of Village Press.
Head upstairs above the Antoni & Alison shop floor to find the tearoom.

No launch would be complete without a little champagne- here's the after-tea party happening in the basement.
 More tea & cakes!
A typically quirky Antoni & Alison film reel streamed in the basement.
Beautiful patterned knits in the shop.
The characteristically bold shop frontage.
The Antoni & Alison notepad & pencil- can you tell I'm just a little bit thrilled by mine?

A big thank you to Village Press for the invite & to Antoni & Alison for a wonderful teaparty!

The Ye Olde Worlde Super Modern Tearoom is open now between Thursday- Sunday on Roseberry Avenue, Clerkenwell.

LFF ATTENDS: MODUS PR'S 25TH PRESS DAY & BIRTHDAY PARTY

It can be hard to find time to let your hair down when you have a full-time job and fashion blog to run, which is why it’s so nice to be invited to an industry party from time to time. Last week I had a great time at Modus PR’s 25th press day and birthday celebration; afterall when you have beautiful fashion, delicious champagne, a fun photobooth and a DJ that plays Spice Girls and Little Mix, what more could a girl ask for?

Here's my pictures from the event...

Modus really did think of everything- after a few champagnes the delicious Koshari street food stand was much appreciated!

LFF ATTENDS: GOOD RESULTS PR SS13 PRESS DAY

Last Thursday I popped into Good Results PR's SS13 press day held at the super-swish Sanderson hotel. After being wowed by the 8th floor pent house location, I really enjoyed browsing through the GR client SS13 collections. Good Results look after several brands that haven't crossed my fashion radar previously, with Copenhagen-based brand Beck Sonder Gaard's colourful accessories range proving a LFF fav. Luxury accessories brand Ruby + Ed were also there & their display definitely proved the most creative, taking over the bedroom and bathroom of the penthouse suite! Here's the pictures I took from the event:

LFF LOVES THE WHISTLES AND MARKUS LUPFER COLLECTION

I've been in the full-on festive spirit since previewing the Whistles and Markus Lupfer collaboration at the St Pancras Renaissance hotel last week. As a massive fan of Markus Lupfer's work, I was super-excited to see how his playful sense of glamour would translate into a collection for the coolest high street brand around. And girls I can tell you that this meeting of fashion minds has produced one of the cutest and covetable collections of nightwear and knitwear that I have seen in a long time!

LFF ATTENDS: SARAH FORSYTH STORE OPENING

I had a great evening admiring luxury leathers and hobnobbing with fashion bodies at the recent Sarah Forsyth store opening on Chelsea's King Road. If you've ever been to the King's Road, you will know it's a pretty glamorous affair, populated by well-dressed, perfectly groomed individuals and the odd Made in Chelsea cast member (Mark Francis was the evening's spot, with Ollie Locke's Union Jack car parked up indicating he was also in the vicinity). With such stylish clientele in the area, I have no doubt that independent handbag designer Sarah Forsyth's first store will be a big success in Chelsea. Sarah's trademarks are unique, stylish handbags crafted in the finest leather and exotic skins. Clean and minimal designs allow the luxurious leathers to do the talking, with colour block and metallic colour ways adding that individual flair to the collection. These are seriously precious clutches and totes that will take the Chelsea dweller from St Trop to Capri in one accessory. I highly recommend visiting the shiny new store at 319 King Road's (opposite the MIC hotspot, The Bluebird) to ogle the collection for yourself!

Turquoise, tangerine and hot pink look beautifully bold colourblocked in these stylish clutches.
The finest leathers and skins are crafted into accessories in the collection.
The boutique has a lovely light and airy feel.

Handbags on display in Beaufort house at the afterparty.
Myself and my fashion girl Katie from Glass of Fashion blog.
I went for a red theme & wore my favourite Lanvin H&M necklace with a red Zara blazer and Thomas Sabo ring.
It was great to meet Jaime of Boy Meets Fashion at the event- excellent blog chat!

I'd like to say a big thank you to the lovely folk at Goodley PR for the invite, warm welcome and fabulous after party!
