INVESTMENT BUY: THE SPORTMAX POTUS DRESS

On a trip to Selfridges last week, my mum and I took an equal liking to this Sportmax 'Potus' dress. Sportmax is the hip little sister of of Italian fashion brand Maxmara, offering a cutting-edge and (marginally) more affordable take on the label's look.  The Potus dress is a timeless investment piece with a fashionable yet wearable graphic rose print and sporty panelling designed to flatter the female form. The fact both my mum and I loved this dress also speaks volumes, the Sportmax look is trendy yet ageless and at £308.00 this dress is a great investment piece.

THE STATEMENT PENCIL IS THE SKIRT OF THE SEASON

For the sharpest style of the season, look no further than the statement pencil skirt. As seen on the spring/summer 2012 Sportmax catwalk, the statement pencil skirt comes in a variety of guises from embellished through to printed or brightly coloured. In the daytime, style your pencil  with a sleek sweater like Sportmax's gorgeous iridescent number or make like a fashion ed and wear with a crisp white shirt.
