LFF IN AMSTERDAM #FIORELLIHANDPICKED

You may remember that I have joined forces with Fiorelli this autumn/winter to document my journey with the Jasmine bag the brand has partnered LFF with. So it seemed like the perfect time to test-drive my bag when I went on a mini 48 hour getaway to Amsterdam with my family last month. When you're only flying with hand luggage I think a stylish compartmentalised tote is essential for organising oneself in-flight, so my Jasmine bag proved to be the perfect travel companion.

I’m by no means a travel blogger, but there were a few places I visited during my short stay in the city that I would highly recommend. If you have an interest in history like me, Rembrant’s house is well worth the visit – the interiors have been reconstructed to reflect how the painter lived and worked – very atmospheric. The LFF restaurant recommendation is De Kas, situated in the former city greenery, my sister tracked down this amazing establishment that  serves seasonal, locally produced fresh fruit and vegetables. De Kas also operates without a menu – something I appreciated because I hate being overwhelmed with choice. My highlight was the starter of salads and soup shared amongst the table- the pumpkin and shrimp soup and cumin carrot and feta salad were delicious.

Being non-leather, my Jasmine bag was nice and light for sightseeing and the cross body strap meant I could go hands free. In-flight it was perfect for stashing my essentials, with a the separate compartments proving ideal for storing my flight documents and passport. I have been up until lately, a convert to small cross body bags, but the Jasmine tote is slowly changing my opinion. Keep following the blog to see where Jasmine and I go next!
